Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few questions that you might have about Family Bible Church. We hope that this will ease coming into a new place and situation. If you have any other questions fell free to contact us at info@familybc.org.

What should I wear?
You're welcome to wear whatever you'd like. Many people wear jeans, some wear shirts and ties. A general guideline is just to dress like you would if you were going to eat or watch a movie. There is no set dress code, although the attire is more on the casual side.

What will the worship service be like?
Our Celebration Service provides a light and friendly atmosphere for those from all walks of life to enjoy. The service has a contemporary flavor that includes a pop/rock style of music played by a live band. The sermons teach on practical issues that are relevant for today and use the Bible to provide useful advice for the issues and challenges we face in life.

How can I find out more about the church?
Simply send an email to info@familybc.org and you will be emailed any information you'd like.

What about my kids?
There is a nursery available for infants up to 3 year olds, well staffed and ready to accommodate your children. It is across the commons area. Look for balloons! Tot Worship is for children ages 4 to 6. This runs simultaneous with our Celebrations Service. Ask someone and we will show you where they meet. Children's Worship is for ages 7 to 11. They will stay in the service until worship has concluded and then they will be dismissed to follow their teacher to their classroom.

What kind of a church is this?
We are a Christian church, and although the place may look different from other churches, we do have a definite set of beliefs. Simply, we're real people connecting to a real God.

Will I fit in here?
Of course! People here come from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. And the exciting thing about a new church is that everyone is new. We want you to feel like family from the moment that you walk in the door, so whatever we can do to achieve this let us know.

Will I have to speak, sing, or give money?
Absolutely not! We promise not to embarrass you publicly. You may participate in worship if you choose to, but there's no obligation. In fact, as a guest, you are encouraged not to give to the offering, but rather enjoy the service as our gift to you.
