Hobbies: still love martial arts, reading, movies, medieval recreations, long walks on the beach (in armor). I'm just joking about the long walks on the beach - I hate sand.

I am: a sophomore at Greenville College

I am: not married but am dating a wonderful women of God by the name of Hannah DeLoche who is also a sophomore at Greenville College.

I have: a wonderful supportive family- Richard and Loretta Shanks (parents) Richard and Lindsey Shanks (brother and sister in law) and Alaxis and Aidan Shanks (niece and nephew).

What is God teaching me: God is teaching me patience and reliance on him.

Vision for FBC: I want the youth group to be a safe place the youth can grow together as a community and gain a better understanding of God through his word.
